Update again. Art's slowly starting up again.
Surgeries are done, scars are healing. Now the only issue left is reconditioning the muscles in my drawing arm because it took years to get the surgeries approved, and in that time the muscles I use to draw with atrophied. Drawing and painting for ten hours screwed my arm up for four days so far, but it's getting better. Since I've started getting better, I figured I might as well start putting stuff up again every so often. It'll be sporadic as hell, and bad for any algorithms that demand an inhuman level of productivity to appease them, but it's at least something. Oh, and a lot will likely be palworld girls because I'm a sick, strange little man. You have been warned.
Doing a bust stream
Not full comms, just busts for now. It's pay what you want, swing by at https://www.twitch.tv/aphexangel.
Doing some quick bust commissions, PWYW
I'll be streaming on Twitch, doing pay what you want commissions. They'll be bust-up only, because that's about what I can handle while still recovering from surgery. If you want to join in, just go to https://www.twitch.tv/aphexangel and I'll have paypal/ko-fi info there, as well as current examples I can show. This'll be tonight and tomorrow only, starting now until my body quits.
More delays...
Carpal tunnel surgery on the left hand's done, but got infected, so I'm on more antibiotics until that hopefully clears up. I still need to get the final surgery on my right arm scheduled, and I'm not exactly sure how long that's going to take given I'm going through Veteran's Affairs. I do know people to call to get things pushed through, but it's also going to involve getting the hospital and their offices to cooperate. Given the staggering (in)efficiency of American hospitals, I can assume I might be seen for a pre-op visit in February and maybe get the surgery right before we move in March, but I'm hoping sooner. That surgery will be for the ulnar nerve side of my arm, part of the wrist flexion stuff since the nerve damage there has been bad enough that a physical therapist noted "wow, this is pretty atrophied." It slows down drawing a fair amount given that scar tissue has formed deep inside and causes the muscles to stick together, which in turn compresses the nerve more, which
